House Rules
Article I | Manager
Section 1
The operation of the Club shall be under the direction of a General Manager with full authority to enforce the House Rules and Bylaws.
Article II | Hours
Section 1
The Club shall be regularly closed on Sunday. Exceptions shall be approved by the General Manager.
Section 2
Normal hours of operation are Tuesday to Friday, 11:30 am to 2:00 pm and Thursday to Saturday 5:00 pm to 10 pm. Exceptions shall be approved by the General Manager.
Section 3
Members are urged to make reservations for all meals and should make advance arrangements when having large dinner parties.
Article III | Charges & Tipping
Section 1
All members should present their membership cards when using the Club and creating charge tickets.
Section 2
Tipping of individual employees is allowed at your discretion. An 18% service charge is added to each bill to support and sustain the salaries of Club employees. Staff salaries are well above comparable positions in this area.
Section 3
“No Shows:” If a reservation is made for a special event and the reservation is not cancelled 24 hours prior to the scheduled event start time, a “no show” charge will be levied on the member’s account equal to 50% of the advertised event charge (plus tip and gratuity) to cover the costs of food and beverage purchased and committed by the Club to cover the cost of this reservation.
Article IV | Visitors & Guests
Section 1
No person or persons may be admitted to the Club unless accompanied by a member or a member’s spouse unless privilege is extended at the discretion of the General Manager.
Section 2
Members are responsible for their guests and their guests’ behavior.
Section 3
The privileges of visitors may be limited or terminated at the discretion of the General Manager.
Section 4
Children under 18 shall be admitted to the Club when accompanied by a member. Exceptions shall be approved by the General Manager.
Section 5
Any member having unmarried children between the ages of 18 and 25 shall have the privileges of the Club extended to such children upon the member’s written request.
Article V | Conduct & Dress Code
Section 1
Conduct becoming to ladies and gentlemen shall be required of all persons while in the Club.
Section 2
Members and their guests shall adhere to the Club’s established dress code:
A. The evening dress code is business casual with comparable attire for ladies.
B. Certain planned Club events may suggest more casual attire , i.e., Fourth of July, … Notice of such to be included in the announcement of the event in the Club newsletter.
C. The lunch dress code is casual business attire.
Article VI | Entertainment
Section 1
Entertainment and events given by the Club shall be for members and their guests only unless otherwise recommended by the Entertainment Committee, House Committee, or approved by the General Manager.
Section 2
No games may be played in the Club other than in the areas designated by the General Manager unless special arrangements have been made and approved.
Article VII | Club & Personal Property
Section 1
Articles of any kind belonging to the Club must not be removed from the Clubhouse, nor may they be defaced. Each member shall pay for all damages caused by such member or such member’s guest.
Section 2
All private property while in the Clubhouse shall be at the risk of the owner.
Article VIII | Employees
Section 1
No employee of the Club may be sent out of the Club building for any reason unless ordered by the Club Manager on Club business.
Article IX | Restrictions
Section 1
No subscription, petition, announcement card, or matter of any kind shall be posted, distributed, solicited, or passed in the Club rooms or sent through Club membership mailings without prior authorization from the House Committee and Board.
Section 2
No article shall be advertised, exposed, or offered for sale in the Club without specific permission of the General Manager.
Section 3
No animals of any kind shall be allowed in the Club rooms other than certified service dogs or as otherwise required by law.
Article X | Membership List
Section 1
No list of members shall be given out, except to members, for any purpose unless preapproved by the House Committee and Board of Directors. The membership list is private and may not be utilized or shared with other individuals or organizations.
Article XI | Complaints
Section 1
All complaints concerning the operation of the Club, other members and/or their guests, shall be made in writing, signed, and addressed to the General Manager.
Section 2
Complaints against employees shall be made to the General Manager in the same manner.
Article XII | Enforcement
Section 1
House Rules shall be observed as rigidly as the Club Bylaws. Disregard for or violation of these House Rules may be grounds for expulsion from the Club, subject to action by the Board of Directors.
